Fibromatosis colli or sternocleidomastoid pseudo tumor of infancy a very rare finding.

Abstract

Fibromatosis colli is a benign condition resulting from proliferation of muscle fibers with in sternocleidomastoid is more common in boys as compare to girls and the prevalence of this condition is reported to be 0.4%.it is also called sternocleidomastoid pseudo tumor of infancy and leads to torticollis of neck some times. The condition is diagnosed by ultrasonography neck and treated by passive stretching exercises of muscles .We report a 20 days old female who was diagnosed by ultrasound.
